Fremont, CA – December 1, 2017 – To support a growing market demand for strategic supply chain initiatives, ALOM has announced the appointment of Jeremy Murchland to the position of Vice President, Business Development. This move comes as ALOM continues to execute a service expansion initiative driven by increasing demand by its Fortune 500 clients for specialized product configuration and highly-scalable, cross channel end-user delivery requirements.

Murchland brings over 20 years of sales, business development and supply chain operations experience to ALOM. He will fill a critical role in helping technology companies optimize their supply chain through a strategic partnership with ALOM. He will be based in Indianapolis, Indiana, where ALOM recently opened its 18th location, a 48,000-square-foot production and fulfillment facility enhancing the company’s service capacity and speed of delivery in North America for its retail and e-commerce clients.
Prior to joining ALOM, Murchland was Executive Director of Sales for Ingram Micro Inc. where he led sales, account management, and program execution across forward and reverse logistics services for some of the largest wireless mobile network operators, wireless manufacturers, and high tech consumer electronics companies in North America. Murchland held a variety of supply chain management and sales positions during his tenure at Ingram Micro (previously Brightpoint). Prior to that, he held various sales and operations roles at Ericsson/Sony Ericsson Mobile Communications.
Active in his community, Murchland is involved in St. Mary’s Child Center, Carmel Dad’s Club and The Knights of Columbus. He has also served on the Executive Leadership Team for the American Heart Association Heart Walk. He is a graduate of the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill with a B.A. degree in political science and holds an MBA with a concentration in finance from Bellevue University in Omaha, Nebraska. He holds a Six Sigma Green Belt/Lean Six Sigma Certification.
