Superior and Seamless Returns Processing
ALOM’s automated reverse logistics process, handled through ALOM Return Management (ARM), simplifies the returns process for retailers and manufacturers. Integrated with our Mastershipper database and ERP system, we offer superior and seamless returns processing.
ALOM manages the entire process from end-to-end including receipt of product, RMA, sorting, credit processing, repairs, refurbishment, and reshipment, with a local presence worldwide. We make sure your customer has a positive experience with their returns. Leveraging our global and integrated infrastructure, technology, and expertise, we have streamlined returns processing.
When returns are received, they are scanned, logged, and reported on a daily basis and matched to the original shipping order number where possible. For credit card orders, the credit card will be credited for the return product upon receipt of the return. RMA numbers can be imported into ARM prior to receipt of the RMA. Upon the physical receipt of the product, the RMA number is matched to the physical receipt.
We make the return disposition of products easy. Clients can:
- Request auto-disposition upon receipt, depending on the condition of the return
- Handle the disposition of each return individually
ALOM handles sorting, repairs, refurbishment, recycling, disposition, or liquidation of returned product.
Testing, Tracking and Reporting
ALOM provides incoming test and rework services and makes return reports available on our acclaimed online portal, COMPASS™. Because of our meticulous tracking of returns, many of our clients take advantage of the returns system for recalls where original products must be returned and possibly replaced.
