ALOM Fulfills Orders Worldwide

ALOM ships out of 14 locations worldwide. Even so, international shipping is required, both for inbound and outbound orders.

Shipping orders across borders adds one more layer of complexity to the fulfillment process. Through our Mastershipper system, we have developed tools to help our customers ship international orders in a seamless process.

We do whatever it takes to ensure that orders get delivered to their final destination. And - just as important - we try to prevent customs problems that will cause our customers getting the added expense of paying for refused shipments, associated returns cost and dealing with dissatisfied customers.

Among the services we offer include
  • Maintaining accurate export information for each product, such as harmonized tariff/schedule B codes, production values and appropriate descriptions
  • Verifying whether your order requires a shipper's export declaration (SED), then generating the SED and providing ITN filing with the federal government
  • Generating commercial invoices, country of origin declarations and other shipping documents as needed
  • Prepaying customs and duties where needed for items such as tradeshows, sales samples and rush shipments
  • Following orders through customs clearance and assisting if an order is being held up during customs clearance
  • Determining whether an order should be returned or destroyed to save return freight if a recipient refuses it
